This notice explains what personal data Studio VAR Ltd. collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Studio VAR Ltd. ("Studio VAR", "we") is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at [email protected] or at ul. Tsar Asen 42, floor 2, 1463 Sofia, Bulgaria.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us:
- Enquiry and brief forms — your name, email address, telephone number if you provide it, and the project details you choose to share.
- Newsletter — your email address.
- Email and telephone — whatever you send us directly.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party. The only data stored in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, which never leaves your device.
Why we use it and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal — on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To send the studio newsletter — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in any letter.
- To keep records of projects and correspondence — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the practice and our legal obligations to retain business records.
Who sees it
Your details are seen by the people in the studio who need them. We use ordinary business service providers — an email host and a form-handling service — who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Project records are kept for the period required by Bulgarian accounting and tax law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни).
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
