LEAF MINT — Sage cabinetry, pale wood and linen make a small apartment feel as though it holds more air than it does.

LEAF MINT

Leaf Mint had low ceilings and a north-facing living room. Rather than fight the light, we matched it — soft greens, pale timber and matte surfaces that do not compete for attention.

A quieter green

The kitchen is the only saturated element, and even that is a muted sage. Against pale oak and warm white it reads as a natural colour rather than a decorative choice, which keeps it from dating.

Raising the ceiling

Joinery runs to full height everywhere, curtains hang from the slab rather than the window head, and the skirting is flush. Each move adds a few centimetres of apparent height; together they change the room.

Soft and washable

The apartment is lived in daily, so every soft surface is a performance weave and every horizontal surface is matte lacquer or stone. Calm is only calm if it survives a week.
